What the current app does
Duplicate checks
Checks items with matching full filenames and compares original content where possible.
Originals preserved
Leaves the selected source files in place while importing and copying RAW files.
Voyage log
Records new items, skipped files and results requiring attention.
Dated RAW archive
RAW files are sorted by year and month when dates are available; unknown dates go into a review folder.
Current release notes
Based on Universal 2.1.3 (build 2026-10-03). Connecting a card does not launch the app automatically. Content comparisons are limited in size and count; the app does not detect every visually similar image with a different name. Apple notarization is not yet complete.
Keep it tidy from the very first import.
